	Instant Access. Just press a button to reach other Nextel customers--coworkers, family and friends--within your local Direct Connect calling area.1
	Value. With Nextel Direct Connect, you don't have to use your cellular minutes. Select a rate plan with generous Direct Connect minutes, and every time you push the button, it costs a fraction of what you might pay for a cellular call.
	Control. You decide who gets your Direct Connect Number, and only those people can contact you.
	Privacy. To stay available without disturbing others, VibraCall® Alert provides a discreet way to receive calls and alerts2.

Long Distances
With new and improved Direct Connect, you can now contact any Nextel customer anywhere within your local calling area--even if they're hundreds of miles away. If you're an existing Nextel customer with an i370, i390, i600 or i1000 phone, you may need a simple software upgrade to use the enhanced features of Direct Connect. Visit the nearest Service and Repair Center for this simple upgrade.
